of the area throughout today but not before it spun up in michigan yesterday. we will be replaced with mother disturbance moving into the area. so we will get this one out of here this cold front will move into the area going through tonight and tomorrow bringing cooler air in here especially as we head into the weekend. so temperatures will feel much cooler. downright chilly i might add. now speak of chilly, it's not chilly as we head to the tropics. and we are talking about the tropics because it doesn't end until the end of november. we have felipe and ophelia out here. they are not doing anything or affecting us and that's what we like to hear. we are dealing with the chance of showers and thunderstorms as we go into the afternoon but mainly dry especially this morning. looking at future radar going into saturday, i told you the next disturbance moving in, that's where eye it could bring showers in here into next saturday. the temperatures around 77 degrees and showers and storms today. humid once again and we will be dealing with the warm weather. temperatures above average.

sol -- locking in solid rain. michigan and wisconsin and northern illinois and northern indiana into ohioch the thinks be -- ohio. system will move into our direction and put the brakes on. our forecast model here this is just one of many computer model. this one actually paring down on the lower end of our rain threat but that will be there back into the mountain later today. and that throws clouds our way. so we expect to have sun and a mix of high clouds eventually the sun will fade out but we should have temperatures warming up over the next few days. pulling in the south eastern wind ahead of the system. when we head into tomorrow morning, and give our take the time with a grain of salt there will be showers that do line up. we could wake up with some wet weather as we go through tomorrow morning. and while you will notice not much action around central maryland, through the forecast period on wednesday morning, i do expect we will be in the general range of scattered showers and because of that south eastern wind is piled up a flood watch at least along the western shores

pressure in control. the high pressure is become toward michigan. i wanted to stay focused on this local issue. we have generally clear skies, there are high clouds mixing in. a denser cloud back back to our west will be oozing in. high pressure usually means nice weather. it will be relatively nice, calm weather. we will have the debris clouds. it is likely we go overcast in the afternoon. combine it with the cooler temperatures. it will actually make it feel even chillier. then we are hanging out with clouds tomorrow. it is bikers week. there could be showers developing second half of tomorrow through tomorrow night in ocean city. the rain could be lingering through sunday morning. looks like we could be dealing with that cloud cover, which may hold our afternoons down but could actually keep the morning temperatures up a little bit. we'll have to see how this plays out. definitely below normal as we roll through the weekend. 66 that is our guaranteed high. again partly to mostly cloudy skies, it will actually make you feel cooler. top we'll slip it back down into the 40s. cooler

york city, 60s across the great lakes. around lake michigan, some pretty impressive water spouts near milwaukee and chicago. this impressive low has been generally meandering from canada. bee were watching it last week. heavy rain chicago towards detroit. we're going to watch that area of low pressure slowly start to pull eastward towards the end of the week. we'll finally get in on some of that rainfall. weave been watching some moisture near the bahamas. today we're stuck with variably cloudy skies. tomorrow will be scattered rain showers. i believe this is the eastern fringe. it starts to pull into the area. wednesday afternoon we'll get into that. then we will start to bring in some of that colder air. this is mimicking a pattern we had three weeks ago. a lot of times, these things like to repeat themselves. that comes with colder air. today 77. actually 79. i don't know why that 37 is there. early drizzle and fog. that will give way to more fog. the sun is warming us up. typical repeating pattern has we head in through tomorrow. wednesday, 78, looking at strong storms,'s special

and waves along lake michigan ... someone said they saw someone knocked off their bicycle by a wave at fullerton avenue. here are some pictures just in to us this is michigan city in the washington park area this is southeast of milwaukee 20 ft. waves there but the measurements on the buoys have been knocked off line the whole level of the lake came up about two and half feet according tonoaa that would be in calumet city there's huge wave action in indiana and michigan but we've seen a lot of activity on our side of the lake as well. >>this wendy autumn storm produces sustained wind up to 20 mi. per hour today in our area these costs will go up over 20 mi. per hour and some other areas closer to lake in wisconsin michigan and indiana but they are dropping in intensity. this is not unlike what happens during a hurricane with a storm surge this storm just replace the one that took off a couple of days of go without had been hanging around our area rain is not the big issue but the lake effect rains are going into indiana and michigan right now but they will blow back to our shores he

michigan game was called late in the third quarter with michigan up 34-10. western michigan and michigan agreed not to play any longer because it was so dangerous out there. right now, temperatures are mid-to-upper 70s around town. 77 in washington. 76 annapolis. not much on our radar, one or two lonely spritzes of rain. that's about it. the showers we had way early this morning are fading down around southern west virginia. all the heavy weather across south bend, indiana, here in ann arbor, michigan, right here where the games were so severely impacted by the bad weather they're still getting pounded by thunderstorms here this evening and on the gulf coast, heavy vain from houston all the way to pensacola, florida. all that rain, this rain here and the rain across the upper midwest and showers in southern virginia will all eventually combine into one very long stretch of wet weather that we're going to have to deal with around here beginning monday afternoon and potentially lasting all the way through thursday or friday of the upcoming week. so enjoy the quiet night tonight. patchy fog

-runners left florida to be in michigan where there is a g.o.p. gathering for the remainder of this weekend. perry arrived there a short while ago. mr. romney got there last night after having spent the day in indiana. so it's a particulay important straw poll, too. there is only two that matter in the aggregate for presidential politics. one in iowa, we saw that. michele bachmann won it but hasn't been able to capitalize on the victory. the florida straw poll, this one is the fifth presidential cycle where this convention is taking place. has been indicator in the past, the people that won the straw polls went on to be president. ronald reagan, george h. bush were all winners. they won the straw poll and ended up in the white house. a lot is riding on this and the perry campaign is looking for a big win. you're right about that. romney is not organizing. jon huntsman is ignoring it. the candidates that took part in the fox news debate will be on the ballot with the exception of gary johnson, the new mexico governor who simply didn't participate. >> uma: it will be a big time out th
